It is a thrill to be a part of this exhibit and to have my work featured on the cover of the poster for an art show at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Portland, OR called "Chrysalis ~ Spreading Our Wings". This show is by artists inspired by the many changes and challenges of the last two years. "Stop by, ponder a bit , and see how the pandemic has influenced these creators - and their creations." 147 NW 19th Ave. Portland, OR

Happy December! There is so much going on in the world right now and the spirit of giving abounds if one looks for it. It is encouraging to see so many coming forward to help those in need and suffering.
Still in seclusion myself, I've been delving more into portraiture. Here is what I've been up to...all are still in progress!

I have a collection of antique frames and am finally creating paintings for them! The painting below will be available for sale shortly (if I can part with it!)...I just have a bit of tweaking to do!

A while back, my sister asked me to paint a Klimt study on her pocket doors and I said,
"Oh sure, I'll just paint a Klimt, ha ha!" Here is my attempt! It was fun to try and it looks pretty cool in her living room! By the way, my mother's beautiful floral painting is on the left. Verna Carey Armstrong.
